Root Rot (Peas)
 Description: Darkening of stem at soil level, root decline
and, as disease progresses, general loss of vigor, stunting,
and death of leaves. A serious disease of peas in all
areas of the U.S.
Solution: Minimize
soil compaction and maintain good soil fertility. Alternating
with cover crops helps general soil fertility and decreases
soil compaction. Sprinkle SoilGardTM Microbial
Fungicide over seed at time of sowing, before
covering seed with soil.
