Wow, that's quite a collection of roses and quite a job. Sounds like fun. My suggestion would be to go to the library and get a few books on gardening. Many have a plant encyclopedia in the back where you can pick out plants that she might like and show her the pictures.

If you need more info on a particular plant, you could go to www.google.com and put the Latin name in quotes like this "Scabiosa caucasica". You can also click on the 'Images' box above the search box and get pictures, since sometimes the plant encyclopedias don't have the kind of picture you are looking for.

Since you don't mention your zone, I would hesitate to recommend a lot of plants that might not thrive. You seem to have a mix of annuals and perennials.
