I have several miniature roses, several older climbing and bush roses, and a garden of new climbing and bush roses. I want to take my roses with me to the new house, but don't know how to either transplant or graft the new roses. Can anyone help. : : You don't say your zone or when you are moving. Can you give more info? It might be best to just take cuttings and root new plants. I'd need to know more. : : Newt : Sorry, we live in Missouri and are staying in the state. How do I take cuttings and root them? : Carol Hi Carol, You still didn't give your zone, but the state does help a bit. Missouri runs from zones 4 thru 7. These directions I have are for Ohio which is zones 5 and 6, but should work for you. Here's a zip code zone finder that you should find helpful. You'll probably want to know your new zone as well. You still don't say when you are moving which would be helpful, but these directions for transplanting in Ohio should work for you. Here's a site that shows how to root cuttings for roses. Hope this was helpful. Good luck with your move.
