Maybe the key is the "plenty of water"? Geraniums like to be more on the dry side but not TOO dry. And are you fertilizing them?

: I don't know what I'm doing wrong ... I had beautiful geraniums, they were so bushy they looked like a small shrub. Anyway, as the blooms die, I pinch them off close to the stem, but now all I have is a big leafy plant with no signs of new blossoms coming. Also, when I do get a blossom they are on a much thinner "stem" then usual. They are on the south side of my home, with plenty of sun and water. Can anyone help please???
