: : I was wondering why my impatients are getting yellow leaves and not flowering as much I fertilize every 7 to 10 days I moved location because of possibly to much sun. Any suggestions?
: You are probably fertilizing too much causing stem growth and no flowering. Also, you've just moved them, so if they were in the ground, expect some transplant shock. This means that they will need time to recuperate.
: If in pots, flush well with water to wash away some of the fertilizer if you aren't using a natural fertilizer like fish emulsion. Things like Miricle Grow leave behind residual salts that can actually be harmful to many plants.
: Either way, cut back about 1/3 of the stems to encourage bushiness.
: Good luck,
my impatients have black spots and they are not getting full as in recent years?
