I find in zone 7/8 I had to water my fuchsias almost daily, but they need really good drainage. I realize I pulled this thread up from months past, but now I'm wondering if anyone knows how to weather this plant. In the past, I've used them mostly as annuals, in hanging baskets on a shaded front porch. The one I have this year has gotten gigantic and lived through one quick freeze already. It seems so hardy, I hate to just let it die. Can I cut it back and store it in the garage, or put it in the ground, perhaps. Anyone know?
