: I've planted seeds and only have leaves and vines, no flowers. Question: What constitutes "poor soil?" Any help in growing these wonderful flowers would be appreciated.
Poor soil is not rich in nutrients. A sandy soil would be a poor soil. If you are fertilizing them they won't flower and will produce only leaves and vines. If there is lots of organic matter in your soil, you'll have the same problem.
