Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. My computer was shut down for house renovations for almost 3 weeks and I'm just getting around to some of the mail. Actually, no question is dumb, so here it goes. Marigolds are annuals and are killed by frost. They can grow on almost any zone and are usually either planted as seeds or small plants in the garden after all threat of frost is gone. Once the first frost comes, they are gone. Here's a site that tells a little about them. http://www.colorspot.com/annuals/marigold.html Here's one that shows how to find the seeds. http://www.extension.iastate.edu/GrowingintheGarden/lessons_seed_surprise.html Hope this is what you were looking for, |
