Astoria is at the mouth of the columbia river in oregon i am going to go and get pictures of this plant and i will email them to you when i get them developed can i have an email address for you or can you email me and i will send them to you mine is my biology teacher is unsure of what this plant is we have guessed that it's an ornamental plant that is not native to the oregon coast. as soon as i get the pics developed i will email you them ok thank you for your response, cecil

: Not sure where the astoria is, but are you in Oregon? There is a native plant called Mahonia aquifolium or Oregon grape. There is a creeping variety and an upright. Is this your plant?
