Hello, We are moving and I have a bunch of plants that I want to take with me, but I'm not sure if I would kill them by digging them up now, in late May. If it would kill them, I'll just leave them. Here are the plants I want to take with me: (I live in California and am moving locally) Gladiolas- 2nd year (this is their 2nd year in the ground) Irises- beaded Alstromeria- 2nd year Foxglove Garden Mums- 3rd year Gerbera Daisies- 3rd year Dahlia- 2nd year I also have a couple geraniums, but I'll take cuttings from them rather than dig them up- they're huge. But, I don't know how to do a cutting, can someone explain? Is it a root cutting or leaf cutting?
I also have some Wisteria that I would love to propagate, but how? Thank you so much for any help you can give me. I'm so busy packing, that I don't have the time to do the extensive searching required. :)
