Thank you, Dave. So true, so true! I grow hundreds, and I do mean HUNDREDS of castor beans every year. Their strength in the wind cannot be beaten, the colors are wild and the growth rate is marvelous. If seeds are a concern for someone, cut the seed stalk off before they form and enjoy the plant. Poinsettias are poisonous. As are poppies. Even Wisteria. Yet people give these as gifts to their own mothers. Does that make them a terrorist? For heaven's sake, people, do your research, get educated and realize that not everyone has evil intention with regard to castor beans.
