: : : : : : I am looking for a listing of tried and true flowers that deer will leave alone.  My plantings have been devestated for years now and I am willing to try different flowers than my old favorites if the deer don't like the taste.
: I was told by my mother that human hair is a deterrant.
: She goes to the barber shop and gets some hair and puts it around her flower bed and some on her trellis for her tomatoes..She lives in Oregeon and the deer where she is located are thick... I never noticed it untill she pointed it out to me... She also uses the hair from her own brush but i dont believe that was enough... Sounds kinda icky if you ask me but it works and makes since... hope this reply gives you another option opposed to not being able to plant your favorite flowers..
