: My glads are coming up okay but after a couple of weeks, the tops die and when I pull them the bottom ends are shreddy. Is something eating them or is this some sort of disease. They are located under the eaves next to the house and only get water when I give it to them so I don't think it is root rot. The glads at the other end of the row where its more exposed to sun and rain seem fine.
Sorry to hear about your glads. I think you just answered your own question with: "The glads at the other end of the row where its more exposed to sun and rain seem fine." I think you need to move the glads that are doing poorly as they aren't getting what they need.
