Hey, in regards to the question, are lupins really poisonous? I am going ot say DEFINITELY yes. On June 9th, 1991 I was poisoned by that flower and was in a coma for several days. I did recover however it was a very close call. There was an article regarding it in the Chronicle Herald on June 9th 1991 take a look.
