Win Prizes in Our Holiday Competion
Entries for our
Summer Holiday Competition have been flooding in and
we've EXTENDED THE DEADLINE. Here's a reminder of what
you have to do to win an exciting prize, and some examples
of the fantastic artwork that we've already received.
The Challenge
Here's what you need to do to enter the competition:
1. On the site we have a virtual gardener called George
who is always offering help, advice and information.
We want you to find your favourite picture of George
on the Greenfingers site and, in not more than 50 words,
tell us what he's doing and why you like the picture.
We have got to be able to recognize what he's doing
from your description.
2. George again! This time, imagine that he has come
to help you - or Mum or Dad - in the garden. We'd like
you to draw us a coloured picture of George doing something
in your garden.
3. I'm sure you've all got a favourite flower or wild
visitor to your garden (an insect, animal, bird, frog.).
The last part of the competition is to draw us another
coloured picture of whatever this favourite is.
The Prizes
First prize is a voucher with a value of £100, and the
lucky winner will have the prize presented at a special
ceremony by the famous TV presenter Michaela Strachan.
Michaela is one of the Greenfingers Dream Team and writes
about all things to do with nature and the environment
in your garden. We'll let you know the date of the presentation
ceremony.
There are 50 additional prizes of a selection of superb
books and CD-roms from probably the best publisher of
junior reference in the world, Dorling Kindersley.
The Details
The competition closes on Friday 15th September. Please
send your entries to:
