Sarah, My jade plant also began to lose its leaves, and soon enough, the branches started to droop, and within a couple of weeks, the whole thing was drooped over. When I finally dumped it out, I found the botton soil very soggy. I am far from an expert, but maybe these plants are very vulnerable to even a little overwatering or poor drainage. Hope your jade fares better than mine did. Tina
