: I still haven't found any substantial literature “need to visit the library”, but out of desperation I visited my local pharmacy (drug store).  Here is his advice.

: 10 ml Pure Aloe Gel (cold press - no aloin from green skin layer)
: 1 x Ascorbic Acid tablet ground very fine  (vitamin C)
: 80 ml Pure Aqueous (water) cream
: Mix and seal in air & light tight container.
: Store in refrigerator.

: Can be used on all sorts of skin problems, e.g. sunburn, dry tired looking skin.
: He even suggested I could use this for my Staffie’s dry skin.

: Shelf life +- 2 weeks, in refrigerator +- 6 weeks

: If you source any other recipes / advice, please post them for me
