: can someone please help me i have 4 cacti and ive had them for about 9 months now i know that i should water them during winter but when should i start to and also can you recomend any special feed for them Hi Lee, Are you saying that you haven't watered them in 9 months? If they're still alive, they should be watered when the top inch of the soil is dry. You could poke your finger in the soil and if dry past the first knuckle, water. If they are in sun I would think that you would need to water about every two weeks. Don't let them sit in a saucer of water for more than an hour. Fertilize once a month in the spring and summer with fish emulsion. Regards,
