Posted by debbie on February 10, 2003 at 07:58:30: help.... i rescues a aloe barbadensis from a friend who left it outside in nov for 3 weeks here in portland ore. although the temp wasnt freezing it took a toll. it is still green but the sections have no roots and are detached from the soil. these sections have no roots. some of the plant is still in the dirt but i have no idea if it has roots as i'm afraid to disturb it. the leaves have curled over but it still looks like it can be saved. i know so little about aloe as my 70 other houseplants are of other varieties. i bought a good cactus potting mix but was hoping for any advise before i attempt to transplant it. can anyone help me? thank you
