: Hi,
: A friend gave me two small a.v. plants he saved from getting bulldozed by new development. I didn't pot them up right away and want to know if I pot them up now, do you think they will live? They are still fat, and have a callous at the base. But, it's been about 2 weeks. What is the best way to treat them at this point?
: Thank you!

Hi K,

Two weeks is a long time to keep them out of the ground, but go ahead and pot them up. You've got nothing to lose at this point. Water them and keep in a west or south facing window. Water when dry.

Good luck,
Newt
