Lucky aloe's still need some help

: I recently went on a trip, and upon returning realized I had left my precious aloe's outside. They were attacked by an aweful freeze, but somehow are making it. They are producing new leaves from the center, but what do I do about the mushy dead leaves hanging over the sides of the pots? Do I cut them off, and if so, where do I cut? My biggest aloe didn't have the entire leaf froze, only the ends.  What do I do about that?Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
