The leaves started drooping last year ( I think I overwatered it) and it hasnt recovered. The leaves have sort of puckered in and hang down at the point where it looks like theres no moisture in the leaf. I have resisted the urge to water it for about 4 months now and have repotted it in a cactus mix. There is new growth coming from the center so should I cut away the dead looking parts? Hi Nicole, I would suggest that you water it and give it a few days to recover. Make sure the water drains through the pot and the plant doesn't stand in a saucer with water for more than an hour or so. Water it when the top inch of the soil is dry. You could poke your finger in up to the first knuckle as a measure. Once it has recovered, you should be able to trim the dead leaves with no problem. Good luck, |
