They were attacked by an aweful freeze, but somehow are making it. They are producing new leaves from the center, but what do I do about the mushy dead leaves hanging over the sides of the pots? Do I cut them off, and if so, where do I cut? My biggest aloe didn't have the entire leaf froze, only the ends. What do I do about that?Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Hi Casey, Glad to hear your plants are still alive! You can cut the mushy dead leaves to a spot where it isn't mushy. The plant will form a callous over the cut in a few days. You can treat the ends of the large leaves the same way. Best of luck, |
