Hi Paula,

I love my mil too. She's such a lovely woman and is always giving me plants!

I'm not sure what you mean by an aloe cutting. Usually an aloe will have 'pups' sprout that can be separated. If she is just cutting off a leaf or a cutting from the stem, let a callous form for 4 days by just putting the cutting in a shady and dry spot. Then insert in moist potting soil. I've never tried this with an aloe leaf, but it works with other succulents and aloe stems.
