Succulents (HELP!!!!!)

I recieved a whole potful of succulents for my birthday. I am not sure what have of them are. Anyways they have gotten this little silver bugs in them. The little silver bugs eventually turn into gnat-like looking bugs. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of them. Does anybody have any ideas?
