: Hi! I got an aloe from my friend because he knows that I like plants and that I am good with them. This is my first aloe that I've helped bring back to health(I do this sort of things for my friends all the time). He says if I can keep it alive that I can have it. Can anyone tell me the basic care for an aloe, how to make it flower and give off pups, and how to bring it back to normal from a sickly state. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

: Sincerely, Tom

Hi Tom,
Gosh, if I give you all that info you'll have to give the plant to me! ;-) Just teasing you. Do a search at www.google.com and put in quotes like this: "aloe vera" and you'll get lots of info. You could also search with something like: "aloe vera" + "pup"

Another option would be to read some of the posts here.
Good luck,
Newt
