: : help....
: : i rescues a aloe barbadensis from a friend who left it outside in nov for 3 weeks here in portland ore. although the temp wasnt freezing it took a toll. it is still green but the sections have no roots and are detached from the soil. these sections have no roots. some of the plant is still in the dirt but i have no idea if it has roots as i'm afraid to disturb it. the leaves have curled over but it still looks like it can be saved. i know so little about aloe as my 70 other houseplants are of other varieties. i bought a good cactus potting mix but was hoping for any advise before i attempt to transplant it. can anyone help me?
: : thank you
: I don't know if you've done anything with your rescued aloe yet, but if it's still alive since November, it will make it. The part that is still in the dirt probably has a root system. Those that are sitting on top of the soil will probably form roots over time.
: You can always go to www.google.com and put in quotes like this: "aloe barbadensis" and get info on how to care for it. It's an easy one to care for. You can also click on 'Images' and often get pictures as well. Here's a site that should be helpful.
: With 70 plants already, I know you'll do fine!
