I have a small Aloe vera plant (6 inch pot). He seemed to be in generally good health for the first year I owned him, but he hardly grew. He got a few shoots but the overall size did not go up. About 4 months ago it started looking sickly (the leaves aren't very thick and some have rotted down by the soil) For a while I thought I was overwatering (it gets good light, though not direct sunlight) so I cut it down to once every three weeks or so. Nothing improved. So I tried putting it in direct sunlight and within 48 hours it was brown and wilting. PLEASE HELP! What should I be doing to help him?
