Hi 1crazymom,
Good advice from Maren. I have found that my impatiens prefer shade and do well without getting leggy. Also, if they are in pots, look to see of they are rootbound.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
