That's my 'bad'. I should have said mix as there is no soil in potting soil. It's potting mix these days. Sorry about the confusion, but everything else except the words potting soil still apply.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
