It is 25 this morning. Any suggestions. I am a very non-tree planting gardener. Mostly veges. Trees either survive or not. This one needs to survive since it is house warming gift from brother. Thanks for any suggestions. Pam

keep it in the pot until spring planting time in your area. hold it in a cool area ,a garage with a window. water when it is dry. lift the pot if it is very light it is dry. tree will go dormant in pot in cool area. treat it with your banana peelings a couple of times before you plant. it will up take the potassium from banana and this will strenghten the root growth. i never throw away banana peelings as they always go under something in my garden..
