  3. Getting Ready

Usually by this time of year, I am looking forward to not having to go out in the heat and garden. But my sister and I are starting to plan for a new garden next Spring. We are going to clear out a small plot of land out front (southern exposure). There we are going to plant about 3-4 tomato plants; beans; green peppers; red peppers; eggplant and cucumbers. I can taste the fresh flavor of them already.

  4. Weeping Larch Dilemma

My European Weeping Larch has dropped all its needles before I was able to get it in the ground. I have been watering it regularly, keeping the root ball wet and allowing proper drainage. Not sure what is goingon with this one. I had no problems with the one I planted in the backyard. Could it possibly be in a dormant state right now with all the heat? Could it have a blight and it's too late to save it? DebinOhio

    Correct equations
    Circle Circum = 2 x Radius x pi(3.14). ...
