This plant was given to me as a gift. It is growing very fast. It also needs a lot of water or it starts to droop.

    hard to see from pic but think it might be a japanese aralia -requires filtered sun/light shade, a lot of water, stems break easily, growth controlled by size of pot. does not like to be in a draft. hope this helps
