Smile Hello and thanks for letting me in

I am from the chicago area. Been gardening for a long time. Mostly herbs and veggies. some fruits like apples and such. I make my own herb blends and I do alot of canning of my own veggies if they don't get frozen first, lol.
I will be starting my indoor flats todya or tomorrow, this looks like a good place to learn more and see lots of different avenues for doing this...
    so hello!
    lol

    Hi Winddancer,

Welcome! It sounds like you have lots of knowledge to share and we just love to learn too.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I will try when I can to help... and share what I do to... right now I have to order new skins for my little greenhouse.. I accidentally tore the roof on mine taking it down... it happens....
Now to learn the place.... should be fun, reading and seeing all the different spots you have.

Winddancer, sorry to read you need to replace your greenhouse skin. My daughter used to live north of Chicago so I know how cold it can get there. Brrr!
