    I grew up in NY state and lived in the north east for over 25 years, but I come up 57% dixie.* I'm still a Yankee at heart even though I've lived in the Mid-Atlantic for longer then that.

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
