[align=left]Hi there. I just wanted to introduce myself to this forum. My name is Jay and live in Southern California. Reason why i'm here is because i eventually want to buy a house and want it to look as nice and homely as possible, so i'm trying to learn as much as i can about gardens and all that good stuff. I look fwd to getting some great feedback from all of you, its looks like*i stumbled into the right place. I also work for HGTV. *

    Hi Jay,

Glad you find the info here helfpful.* It's nice to know that the info is helpful to others.* There are lots of knowledgable folks at the HGTV boards as well and I know you can learn alot by reading there too.

Hope you can get your new home soon.* In the meantime consider gardening in containers.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
