First time gardener

Hi Everyone!

This is my first time ever to plant a garden. I want to plant vegetables. i.e. Corn, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers. I have no idea how to get started, when to get started or anything. Anyone know of a good book that can walk me through step by step?

The best thing you can do for your first garden is to start with your soil , figure out what kind of soil you have and either plant plants that like that condistion or amend your soil . Go to the libery and check out a good gardening book, one that I found usefull is Better Homes And Gardens ,New Garden Book. Good luck to you , start small and let your garden grow as your knowlege of gardening grows .
