Garden Fertilizer ... is it safe

Question:
A Plant Hawker gave me this packet named AEFFCO GARDEN FERTILIZER. This packet contains 1KG of Potassium, Phosphorus and Nitrogen in a shape of small balls. He told me to put 8 to 10 balls twice in month in my plant pots. Should i use this or not, is it safe or my plants?

The chemicals themselves are common in MOST fertilizers. BUT what is the percentage of each? On most containers there are 3 numbers listed ie 16-16-16. This means there is 16% of each Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorous. That is as important as anything depending on teh type of plant you are fertilizing and wht the results you are trying to achieve.
