Garden Fertilizer ... is it safe

    Question:
A Plant Hawker gave me this packet named AEFFCO GARDEN FERTILIZER. This packet contains 1KG of Potassium, Phosphorus and Nitrogen in a shape of small balls. He told me to put 8 to 10 balls twice in month in my plant pots. Should i use this or not, is it safe or my plants?

The chemicals themselves are common in MOST fertilizers. BUT what is the percentage of each? On most containers there are 3 numbers listed ie 16-16-16. This means there is 16% of each Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorous. That is as important as anything depending on teh type of plant you are fertilizing and wht the results you are trying to achieve. There are several great articles on line that will help you out.
