I bought the scotts potting soil and miracle gro garden soil. I grow snow peas in them at the same time. The one in scotts soil died about 20-25 days. The one I grow in miracle have flowers now. The one I grow in scotts potting soil, the leaves looks wired it is curly. Can anyone help me why the one in scotts soil died? They are treated same way.

Did the Scotts have any peat moss or humus in the soil.* Sometimes potting soil is just junk.* I would recommend seed starting mix versus potting soil.* I have a section where you can make your own potting soils and mixes.

Chenjia, great advice from Backyard Gardener.

I am guessing you started the seeds in the potting soil.* If so, your young plants may have experienced fertilizer burn.* Most potting soils today come with slow release fertilizer already mixed into them.* If you added more fertilizer, and even if you didn't, it could have been too much for them.* Seeds should not be fertilized until the second set of true leaves appear in the seedlings.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
