I had a beautiful Gingko Biloba Tree delivered from Forest Farms for my brother and his wife's new landscape. It was a whopping 6ft tall. It sat on his porch for a number of days waiting for its perfect location to be identified. During this period, a huge gust of wind blew it over breaking it into two pieces, literally. I didn't hear about this for several days. Is there anything I need to smear on the break to help it through this devastation? Will it even live? He planted it just like it was.

    Hi Henyerson,

Sorry to hear about what happened to your brother's gingko.* From your description there is nothing you can do to save the tree.* Take a look here at different types of damage for more info.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
