    Im New Here please help trying to learn

    I am getting ready to do some research on soil and was curious about why the acid level of soils and the Calcium concentration are important and related.

    I'm not sure what you are asking, and I'm not sure a gardening forum is the right place to ask. Maybe a botanist would be a better source.

    However, calcium tends to neutralize acid, so a high amount of calcium added to an acid soil might effectively bring the pH to neutral.

    Soil calcium is mainly important for lowering the pH level and the associated acidity.
    Most flowers and vegetables grow best in slightly acid soil.
