Lamium Beacon Silver Can it take the sun?

I have a lot of Beacon Silver and would like to transplant some into a sunnier bed. The new bed gets strong morning and evening sun but has dappled shad during the hottest parts of the day. I've looked it up on-line and half of the sites say it will burn in the sun and the other half says it likes the sun! Kind of confusing. Has anyone planted it in the sun and how did it do?

I found two sites with different info. One says full sun to part shade and another says part sun to shade. So, I figure it can take full sun in a moist area. Take a look here.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

    Thank you Newt

:) It is kind of confusing isn't it? As I have lots of it I think I'll give it a try.
