Manure
I added manure to a strawberry patch two weeks ago and am getting ready to put it on my garden.but my strawberry patch looks like a lawn now.there is grass every where.is this what i can expect next spring in my garden ?

Depends on the manure and how it was treated. Horse manure is excellent, but it does contain a lot of undigested seed and grain. If you aren't willing to deal with all of that sprouting, you would need to compost it in a pretty active, hot, compost pile first to kill the seeds.
You can buy manure already composted which will have very little sprouting on you. |
