    name for a garden---please help

    Hi there,
Could you gals/guys help me with a name for my english garden.
At the moment, the only name I can think of is:
"Country Garden Chestfield"(location Chestfield) which is basically very common and quite plain.
To describe the place,it's located near a pond and is surrounded by hills.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Great suggestions from Lori. How about Niko's Country Niche? Or, something in the name from something growing on the property such as Chestfield Country Oaks. I know someone who was ill for many years and about to become homeless. Her son purchased the house for her that she was renting and she calls it 'Ryan's Gift'. Does the pond have a name? You might include that or even the name of the hills.

Please let us know what you decide.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I like Lori and Newts suggestions. Thought I'd add, if you want a fancier name, something like "Sissinghurst at Chestfield" or "Chestfields Hidcole Manor Gardens" (Boy, that's a mouth full!) Both are famous English gardens.

    Thanks gals/guys for the suggestions.
I have not decided on anything yet but do keep the suggestion coming.
    So far,I tried
    1)Cottage Rose
    2)Misty Mere
    3)Garden View
    It's kinda plain,huh....
I don't know much about any english sounding words so if you guys could correct me on my wording or add something,it would be most welcome.
    Thank very much.

    Hi Niko,
I like Misty Mere. If it's too short, how about Misty Mere of Chestfield or Misty Mere Garden?

Thanks. Is there any other english names to describe mountain and pond. You see the garden is at a mountainside and will consist of a fairly large pond.
I wanted to use 'pond' but it doesn't seem to rythm with any word that I know......that's why I tried 'mere'.How about name of tree/plant that will rythm with surrounding landscape?Any other suggestion would be most appreciated.

How about "Misty Mere Valley"? "Misty Mere Hollow"? "Misty Mere Vale"?
