Poisonous houseplants

I was wondering if anyone would know if coleus are poisonous to humans.* I have raised some beautiful plants outside this past summer.* Now that it is time to bring them in, I am worried.* Someone told me they thought that coleus are poisonous.* I have a 2 year great-granddaughter and she loves plants.* Therefore, if they are poisonous, I will give them away to someone to whom they would not be a threat.* Thank you so much.* Autumn
