    why do you want to?

other than that: either water with a garden hose or dump 12.5 4 gallon
buckets of water one it (It's a lot less than it sounds) :-)

Tip: Allow enough time after watering for the leaves to dry before evening. Water on the leaves in warm weather encourages plant disease.

depends on where you are. I'm in the tropics, and if it isn't raining
(right now it isn't, hasn't for 2 weeks) it doesn't matter all that
much whether there's water on the leaves. Here they encourage watering
in the early mornings or late afternoons so that the water can be
absorbed rather than mostly evaporating - islands can get water
shortages, sometimes severe ones and you want to conserve water
    when/if you can.

Maren, in Hilo, HI, which is getting close to drought conditions - again.
