Spray n Grow
Have yall tried the spray n grow they advertised on Qvc. Does it work? Do yu have to try the Bill perfect fertilizer for better results on blooms, or just the spray n grow.

Hi Deb,
I moved your post because I thought more people would read it in the general gardening section. Many people think that plants need vitamins just like people do. However, this is a myth. I would be wary of a product that does not list its ingrediants ( I couldn't find a specific ingrediant list for the Spray n Grow anywhere on their website ).
There recently was a great article published by a woman in our area who writes for the Washington Landscape Association concerning the use of Vitamin B-1's use on plants. It's a common additive in many rooting stimulants and transplant "helpers". It's not too long and worth the read - if you don't have time there's even a short summary at the end of it :) Take a look!

I'm not trying to discourage you from trying new things but I prefer to think of the bigger picture- ie. is this product not only going to help my plants but the soil and bugs around it....
Happy Gardening,

I haven't used the product but agree that it seems to be awfully synthetic. Look for organic products that promote soil health rather than plant health. Healthy soil makes a healthy plant and healthy plants fiight off disease. Try the internet for new products. I saw an ad in Horticulture Magazine for JungleFlora which is a certified organic soil conditioner and so far for me it has great results. It may be an option for you. It is now all I use. $19.95 for 25 gallons and you can even do you grass. That alot cheaper than $40 a bag.
