Strawberry Pruning Question

Hi,

I am new here as well as new to gardening. I have a question about pruning Strawberry plants. If there is a stem leading to nothing but dead leaves, I assume I should cut the leaves off, right? If that's the case, where do I cut? Should I cut at the base of the stem? Or should I just cut the leaves? Will anything else shoot out of that stem if I leave it?

Hey, you should absolutely cut them back. If not they will rot and cause the whole strawberry plant to die.
