Does anyone have advice on transplanting wild yucca & cacti? I have recently moved into a new housing development in San Antonio. Behind me is a large area that is zoned for development and in that area is some beautiful yucca & cacti that are sure to be bulldozed. I would like to transplant them into our yard to not only landscape in the natural sourroundins but to save them from destruction. Most of them will go back into the ground but a few might make it into large pots.

Can anyone give me a few pointers so I dont over stress the plants and kill them?
