i have some low-water palm trees, such as bottle palms, thatch palms, white sand palms, and date palms, but they seem to dry out during colder weather.* here in florida we are humid most of the year, but get dry when the temps cool down.* any floridians out there who know why?

I would suspect the colder temps occur when there is less humidity.* Cold winds can also dry out plants.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
